Pietro Vincenzi
After graduating in Physics in 2012 at University of Padova with a master thesis work performed within Erasmus programme at Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching (DE), I started a Ph.D. in Fusion Science and Engineering by University of Padova – Centro Ricerche Fusione and Istituto Tecnico Superior Lisboa (PT), until early 2016. Thanks to an EUROfusion Engineering Grant, I started then a 3 years project at Consorzio RFX, Padova, on DEMO plasma heating by neutral beam injection. I became permanent staff of Consorzio RFX in late 2018. In late 2021 I got a CNR permanent position as researcher at ISTP. I am currently working on plasma heating and scenario physics for nuclear fusion, with applications on several facilities as ITER, DEMO, DTT, JET and more. Since late 2021 I have been appointed ITER Scientific Fellow, to work on heating and current drive physics for ITER tokamak.
