Matteo Agostini

From 2008 Researcher at Consorzio RFX and at Cnr from 2010.
My research activity is focused on plasma physics, in particular the analysis of instabilities and turbulent phenomena with spectroscopic systems and the role of the turbulence ion the density limit. This activity is carried out manly at Consorzio RFX working at RFX-mod experiment. I have also participated to international experiments, with different visits at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory working at NSTX, MIT Boston at Alcator C-mod, IPP Garching at ASDEX-U and SPC Lausanne at TCV.
I also work on SPIDER negative ion source, which is the test bed of ITER negative ion source. In particular my work is focused on the analysis of the divergence of the ion beam by means of a visible tomographic system which gives the 2D image of the emission of the accelerated beam
