Research interests include:
Direct Simulation Monte Carlo modelling of high speed flows, with a focus on vibrational kinetics in shock-heated flows;
Kinetic theory of transport processes in reacting/partially ionised gas mixtures;
Kinetic theory of fluctuations in molecular gases, internal energy exchange collisions and Rayleigh-Brillouin light scattering;
Collisional-radiative modelling of non-equilibrium, low temperature plasmas.
