Giorgio Saverio Senesi
Il Dott. Giorgio S. Senesi è geologo e ricercatore presso il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Istituto per la Scienza e Tecnologia dei Plasmi (ISTP), sede di Bari. Ha conseguito un BA/MS e un PhD in Scienze della Terra presso l’Università degli Studi di Bari. Periodo di ricerca post-dottorato presso il Department of Plant and Soil Sciences, University of Delaware, Newark, DE, USA, con visite scientifiche e collaborazione con il Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimora, MD, USA e il Brookhaven National Laboratories, Brookhaven, NY, USA. Interessi di ricerca: Spettroscopia Laser-Induced Breakdown applicata a minerali, gemme, rocce, meteoriti, suoli, fertilizzanti, piante e beni culturali, interazione laser-materia, spettroscopia laser, tecniche di caratterizzazione morfologica (AFM, SEM, TEM) e film di diamante nanocristallino.
