Marianna Ambrico

CNR permanent researcher since 1998, physicist, with expertise in the electrical properties of solid-state physics, organic (melanin, polymers) and biological (living cells) materials. He has carried out research in the production of semiconductor materials by RF plasma and laser ablation. Her research activity concerned optoelectronic characterizations of thin films of semiconductor materials (Si, II-VI) and the effects of plasma treatments on the electrical transport of surfaces of interest for electronics (GaAs, Si ). She has skills in measuring and analysing the electrical impedance response of semiconductors, biomaterials, cells and designing and study of traditional structures (MS, MIM and MIS). She is nowadays involved in studying the electrical and redox properties of materials and processes for sustainable electronics. Her current scientific production consists of 64 publications with an h-index of 23 and several participations in congresses, workshops and conferences. She is at present Tutor for ISTP in the internships of the Physical Degree Courses of the Faculty of Sciences MMFFNN of Bari
