Researchers’ Night 2024: Science Meets the Public in Piazza del Duomo

On Friday, September 27th, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, under the arches of the Arengario in Piazza del Duomo, the highly anticipated Researchers’ Night will take place. This event is part of the project “Co.Science – Meet Research To Connect Science And Society” organized by CNR, Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci, Federazione delle Associazioni Scientifiche e Tecniche -FAST, Consorzio Italbiotec e Comune di Milano. The initiative offers a unique opportunity to bring science closer to the public in one of the city’s most iconic locations.

Among the key participants will be our Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (ISTP), which will engage the public with interactive exhibits and informative posters illustrating the principles of plasma physics and the nuclear fusion process. Visitors will have the chance to interact directly with our researchers, discovering these fascinating scientific disciplines in an enjoyable and accessible way.

Whether you’re a science enthusiast, a curious passerby, or simply eager to experience something new, don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the world of research. Researchers’ Night awaits you to share knowledge and innovation in the heart of Milan!
