The RFX-mod core upgrades consist of: &#8211; Removal of Inconel vacuum vessel; &#8211; Modification of the stainless steel Support Structure to ensure Vacuum Tightness (VTSS); &#8211; Modification of the copper Passive Stabilizing Shell (PSS); &#8211; Installation of upgraded sensors inside the vacuum vessel.
